WE WERE HERE: A Lorain County Bicentennial Exhibit

Thank you to all who came out to experience the special Lorain County Bicentennial Exhibit and Cultural Celebration the week of September 9-13, featured at the LCCC Commons.

Friends attended a special reception on Wednesday, September 11th, experiencing the exhibit with live music by Mariachi Jalisco de Detroit, Jazz and treats galore!

Featured exhibits included:

  • Celebrating 100 Years of Latino History in Lorain

  • Stories of Black Elyria - 1800’s-1960’s

  • Mary Church Terrell - Oberlin College Educator & Activist

  • Toni Morrison - Nobel Laureate
